‘The Plastic Ratio’ is a film about sublingual forms of communication. Four women join their arms in time to the music and each time they find a "meaningful" shape, a clay model of the pattern emerges where their bodies join. The film is about different forms of communication and connection, about how we construct moments and forms that hold meaning and symbolism. The transience of human encounters and an attempt to fix what is briefly glimpsed.
