eva susova is a multidisciplinary artist investigating corporeality and the connection between body, mind and voice through the production of multi-sensorial experiences.
Trained in contemporary dance, choreography, and visual arts, her works are multilayered affirmations of the entanglements of body, nature, and culture, formalised through live performance, audio, video, text, installation and drawing.
Her artistic research is concerned with the poetics and problematics of the (female) voice, embodied knowledge, touch, listening, attention and ecology, striving to decompose existing concepts and categorisations that divide life to accumulate capital. Digging into decomposition as a process of transformation, she is currently investigating the world of fungi as a source of knowledge that can inspire new ways of living, becoming, and relating.
She understands her artistic practice as a space of radical imagination, referencing works of speculative fiction. Her research is a necessary and conscious dialogical practice with intersectional feminism.
