In her latest works Catalina González explores energies to connect with the primary elements and the possibilities of a landscape. The gesture consists of touring industrial landscapes experiences, capturing their light and reproducing it in the intimate space of the studio – as an offering, a translation – activating a threshold to observe our constructions like interfaces. The vibrations on the surface of Futureland, a sea so still, as artificial controlled by concrete docks and ships that shape it, the greenhouses that cover some landscapes reproduce light waves like the sun, and some go to Mars.
