Joanne Igbuwe (29) is a visual artist, teacher and creative entrepreneur from Amsterdam with Nigerian heritage. She draws inspiration from a wide variety of sources and archives, most of the time being expressed in photography, drawings, paintings, or a combination of these media. Since a while Joanne's research started also with her fascination for 3d media jewelry and ceramics. She centers around themes like culture, identity and ‘colour’, themes she presents in both poetical and socially engaged ways.
