Anton Valens (1964–2021)

We are sad to hear that artist and writer Anton Valens died on Sunday, 7 November in Amsterdam. He wrote four novels and was known as a great and unique literary talent from his debut novel Meester in de hygiëne (2004) onwards. He was a resident at the Rijksakademie from 1990–1992.
