The Art Mediation Course 2021 is unfortunately postponed until further notice. Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates.
The Art Mediation programme stimulates an active form of interaction between an artwork and the viewer by offering an approach that enables an open dialogue with the public. The course departs from the conventional and deductive teachings of art to encouraging participants to articulate their understanding of an artwork.
The course is open to all with an interest in the arts and a love for facilitating access to artworks for a general as well as a (semi) expert public, without providing the visitor with top down information. Prior experience with art tours is not mandatory, but most welcome."
The Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten is an international residency programme for emerging artists from all over the world.
