Susan Gloudemans, Director of Strategy & Development departure

Susan Gloudemans, Director Strategy & Development, ends her position as of 1 April 2024. After over 18 years of working on strategy and development for the Rijksakademie it is time for her to spread her wings.

Driven by the Rijksakademie's core mission of artistic development and translating this into sustainable and innovative support programmes, she has contributed to the institution’s strong financial foundation and connection with leading partners. Developing strong and warm relationships and building bridges between the artist community and our supporting network has always been at the heart of her work. It has led to a long-term engaged circle of friends, more openness and connection with the world around us, and a committed artist community. One of her latest projects, the artist editions, is a good reflection of this connecting force.

The Rijksakademie will miss a dedicated and inspirational colleague in Susan, who knows how to put the Rijksakademie and our artist community in the spotlight and to get people enthusiastic and engaged in our work and our role in the Dutch and international art world.
